Comparative evaluation of optical amplifiers in passive optical access networks

چکیده

In this paper, the parameters of optical amplifiers are evaluated using numerical methods with Optisystem software. The main objective evaluation is implementation an telecommunication architecture, able to push back current limits, due a more and restricted bandwidth following demand which does not stop growing. We start from study classical architecture network external modulation provided by mach zehnder modulator, non return zero (NRZ) coding, pseudo random bit generator continuous wave (CW) laser diode frequency 193.1 THz. results obtained show transmission possibility at 30.8 dBm output power 25 (316 mW) electrical rate signal noise (SNR) (OSNR) beyond 34 dBm. successive integration different will improve these gain than 10 also provide better quality.
